Associate Veterinarians
At the DSVC, we employ associate veterinarians who assist our surgeons to manage your pet’s care. These doctors are graduate licensed veterinarians who plan to pursue continued training in the specialized field of small animal surgery. While they will not be performing your pet’s surgery, the will assist the surgeon during the procedure and play a vital role in your pet’s post-operative care.
Feel free to ask to speak to an associate doctor, as they can answer most questions about your pet’s condition and care. You will, in most cases, receive routine postoperative updates and discharge instructions from our associate veterinarians.
